Ciprun Global helps inventors, investors and creators to secure Chinese patents, trademarks and copyrights. The company is based primarily in China, but their American branch has grown proportionally with increases in global trade and business relations. To promote their services in the US, Ciprun Global needed a website separate from the main company’s online Chinese presence. Their site needed to be as easy to navigate as it was for admins to edit, with user experience as a #1 priority.
My colleagues designed the site and I coded it after they completed a layered Photoshop mockup. Using Advanced Custom Fields, Foundation 6 and PHP, I built a dynamic custom WordPress theme. The theme consisted of flexible page templates that Ciprun’s employees could use and expand upon as their company grows, with content sections that could be added, removed and reordered depending on need. I took the admin user experience into account at every step of the development process and Ciprun’s team has found editing the site to be easy and intuitive.
